Hunting for the ideal interior design core print

I’m keeping an eye out for the perfect print to use for curtains or home furnishings, and to use to pull out a colour palette to form the core of the rest of the interior design. I’m thinking a large-scale botanical or organic looking print, blue/green/brown with orange or pink highlights, and ideally *not* a black or white background. Texture is important, but weight less so – I figure I can cross that bridge and choose an appropriate soft furnishings project or underlining when I get there.

Would it be too dark at night? Hard to strike a balance between exciting/not washed out/not too dark at night. Maybe lean dark and lean heavy into good lighting?
